On this special day, as we honor the contributions and sacrifices of our veterans, let’s take a moment to dive into a fun yet meaningful discussion: If you could choose a different vehicle besides the one you currently own, which one would it be?

Whether it's for its rugged durability, off-road capability, or simply its iconic style, trucks have always been a symbol of strength and resilience—values deeply tied to the spirit of our veterans. So, let’s hear it: Which vehicle would you pick and why?

Take part in the poll and share your reasons in the comments! If your dream truck isn’t listed, feel free to add it in the comments below. And for those who aren’t veterans, we’d still love to hear your opinions—every perspective is welcome!

I wish I could trade mine for a Honda Ridgeline. My 2007 Ford Ranger just worked, I traded it in for a 2023 Bronco Sport Big Bend and I've had a lot of problems and spent a bunch of money to keep it running. I would go elsewhere if I where you/

I am a Veteran and appreciate the acknowledgment of Veterans Day! I like the 2026 Ford Explorer Temor for another rig although I love my Badlands.

I wouldn’t get a pickup truck simply because I have zero need or justification for a pickup bed. It would be hauling around wasted space and extra weight for nothing..

If the Bronco Sport didn’t exist I might consider a Base 2dr. Bronco or a Mazda CX-30. Or if I went in a different direction, one I actually almost went, it could be a Volkswagen GTI.

Absolutely love my 25 BS BL SAS. If I would choose another vehicle, I would go with the 26 Honda Passport Trailsport or potentially a new release of the Xterra (rumors of it coming back). I loved my past ownership of both of these, with owning my last Xterra for 13 years. Only got rid of it because my son needed reliable transportation and I fell hard for the Bronco Sport.

NGL - if I hadn't traded in my 2022 Ram 1500 Sport for a 2024 F150, I would still be driving it and not my 2025 Bronco Sport. Hindsight is 20/20, as the saying goes. That was a great truck in all respects. I decided to trade it in cause I'd put 50k miles on it in 2 years & Ram announced the demise of that terrific 5.7L Hemi V8. As an RV owner I believed I needed a V8, so went with the F150. A good truck, but the Ram was better. Ram has rescinded their decision to cease production of the 5.7L V8 & 2025 models now come with it. But I've moved on. I am selling my RV and don't need a big truck. I like my BS & hope the $11,000 damage done to it in an encounter with a deer last Friday hasn't compromised it.

Almost any year jeep wrangler (older year without all the electronic stuff = just a regular key etc). Do love our 2024 Bronco Sport Badands but had previously had Jeep wranglers 1980/1990 era Sahara & other base model & loved them both to the MAX!

The old Toyota FJ. I looked for one but low mileage versions were very high priced.

If I were to do a Jeep it would be an 80's Scrambler, those were cool in the day.

I would choose a 79 Ford Cummins swapped 4x4. I should have kept my 2015 RAM 2500 4x4 diesel long bed, it had 37,000 miles on it when I traded it for the BSOB.

What I want: Pre-1970 CJ, '81 Toyota Land Cruiser. What I'd likely have on the daily other than the BS: Maverick or Ranger. Depends on my mood at the time.

I’d agree if we’re talking pre-AMC, or at least pre-Stellantis/FCA. Now it’s just an egregiously overpriced, US-assembled conglomeration of some American and some Euro crap, with all the profits going to Amsterdam.
