Pretty much echoing what others have said here. We have a 21 OB, 42k miles, extended warranty. In the spring of '23 during a service we asked the service dept to look into that noise issue. Not sure if they did.
September of 23 we had an appointment specifically to address that noise. They didn't find anything and was charged a $200+ diagnostic fee
Then in October '23 I was searching this forum and found the TSB that was issued in August 2022. We scheduled an appointment for December 13th to get this fixed. We took the vehicle in, they had for two days and called us the evening of the second day saying they didn't fix the brakes because they didn't have the parts, then wouldn't release the vehicle to us because they JUST ordered the parts and we needed to pay for them, THEN reschedule another appointment (mind you this was after us informing them we were switching to another local dealer for service.
After discussing it with a sales manager, we got the vehicle released to us.
There is a systemic problem with these service centers not doing their homework and researching TSBs prior to any service, and the service managers complete lack of problem solving know how.

What is the number of the posted TSB? (I somehow missed it). Cheers!

I think the only question i would ask is in what position should the reenforced bushing go ? Top or bottom ?

I've seen a few mentions of the recent TSB regarding brake noise. Here's the full scoop!

Thank you , that’s the first I have seen that write up . Had mine done in 2021 oct .
I was told my parts were in a couple of months ago…..then they weren’t. I was told they had been redesigned and on backorder. Make me believe they weren’t giving them to other owners ?

@Tamztrk .. as mentioned on another thread, TSB 22-2326 and TSB 23-2041 are both superceded.

TSB 23-2308 is current for this issue:
Moan Noise In The Rear Brakes When Vehicle Is Driven In Reverse (R) In Cold Weather And/Or High Humidity, Supersedes 23-2041

Dude, to clarify, is this info an update (or different). Thank you for taking the time. I appreciate you ?
That’s something you will have to discuss with your dealership service department if you are concerned about the rear brake noise.

Print a copy of this PDF and bring it with you,

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10244711-0001.pdf

For more discussion see this thread: “Finally”… a correction for Rear Brake Moan Noise” and in Post #8, Mark S stated the following: “ The kit also includes new caliper springs, which are meant to pull the pads back off the rotor when the driver releases the brakes. The noise is a resonation created by friction between the pads and rotors, so it's possible this kit includes stronger springs to reduce that friction. I'd be interested to see of the new springs are stronger than the OE springs.”

Only Ford knows exactly what TSB 23-2308 is going to do for the rear brake noise. That’s why you need to discuss TSB 23-2308 with your dealership service department.
