Thanks all. I'm loving mine. Like some have said this forum has a lot of complaints but I have learned your mileage will most likely vary. Got about 1200 on mine now. I still want to crawl under it and look around.

30,500 miles, vehicle has been fairly reliable so far. I’ve done a couple TSBs and recalls. Vehicle has had a few electrical gremlins pop up, interior rattles, etc but nothing that has really concerned me just yet. Mechanically the vehicle has been great. It’s a highway commuter and I put 90 miles per day round trip.

10k miles and year later on my 22 BL and have had nothing but issues. Month of that time was spent in the shop for any number of reasons. Week here, week there, few days here. Is in shop once a month.
This month is a year of ownership and I’m still waiting on warranty parts and repairs from when I bought it.
Fuck Ford, they can build these things constantly and are available everywhere by me on lots. But I can’t get parts for mine when there’s an issue.
And did I mention , a year later, I’m still waiting!!

I don’t know when yours was built but seems to have happened after a lot of tequila was abused or something.

Its unfortunate that you have had so many issues.

The parts thing is a problem all over. Doesn’t excuse it but it’s not limited to Ford. Our portion of the building where I work did not have a working furnace this winter as new units and parts were on a 30 week lead time.

2819 miles and except for the squeky rear brakes while backing up when cold , the tremendous amount of brake dust on the front brakes and the leaking fuel injector recall which hopefully gets fixed Monday there's been nothing else wrong.

Sometimes this forum seems like a complaint board. I feel like many of the complaints are legitimate but some owners seem so entitled and have unrealistic expectations.

In late October I traded in my 3rd Jeep Patriot (2016) that I owned for 6 1/2 yrs. It had 58.5K on it and all I ever replaced were the brakes. No recalls what so ever. Maybe I am a little bit spoiled and have high expectations.

Just to clarify, the recall is not due to leaking fuel injectors. The recall is to put in place mitigation methods IN CASE of a fuel injector leak. Right now, if you experience a fuel injector leak—which is a possibility with ANY vehicle, not just the Bronco Sport—the fuel/fumes may collect near engine parts hot enough to cause ignition. The recall directs installation of a drain tube to direct fuel that might leak from an injector away from hot areas of the engine. It also incorporates a software modification that will alert the driver in the event of a drop in fuel pressure, which is a symptom of a leak in the fuel injection system.

Ford, in collaboration with the NHTSA, has determined the possibility of a fuel injector leak to be so remote as to negate the need for a "do not drive" order. If I owned one, however, I would stop driving it immediately if I smell fuel, and I would pop the hood after driving at the end of each day to make sure I couldn't smell fuel.

TL;DR, drive your Bronco Sport 1.5L with confidence that it will not burst into flame at any moment.

I just bought a Big Bend Bronco Sport last week. Coming from a 2007 Ranger XLT Single Cab 2.3L I have to say the little Bronco has impressed me in everyway. I was just wondering how far I might expect trouble free. How many miles have you gone?
New member here, but from what I can tell, Ill be putting a lot of miles on this amazing 1.5 liter engine!

April 1st will be 16 months for me. I should hit 11k miles by then (it's at 10.8k today). I got my '21 BSBL Dec 1st of '21 and I've had nothing but joyous miles with lots of smiles so far! I also feel fortunate to not have any recalls on my vehicle so far. I wish I could say the same for those who have gone through any of the recalls.

My question is to all you Bronco Sport owners! How many trouble free miles do you think you should get out of a Bronco Sport ???? How many miles should you get out of the drive train ?????

This question really depends on how you use it. If your car is a mall crawler I believe you can garner clues from the warranties on offer; you can get a 100K warranty on the powertrain. After that, you would expect some costs for repairs and replacement of worn out parts.

If your rig is intended for frequent trips off-road then I would expect a commensurate increase in repair/replacement costs.
