Do they make Thule or Yakima crossbars that are not longer than the width of the Bronco Sport? Is there any specific reason why it sticks out so much?
I'm sure they do. These Thule ones are 53" for reference. Amazon shows ones that are less, such as 52 or 47", etc.

Here are Thule crossbars installed

This is a good width. For example, if wanting to use the Gofast Superlight RTT, it is 90"x50" so that gives you a few inches to spare. I am pondering it but not sure.

Looks nice!! Is there a reason why someone would get longer crossbars than the width of their car?

Just ordered the Thule crossbars! A few tips to help those shopping cross bars:

Part Numbers:
Yakima VM1PZ-7855100-A Link. Price $559
Thule VM1PZ-7855100-C Link. Price $369

Then, if you go to Ford Parts website you might save a bit. They were full price at my dealer but i checked a bunch of dealers in my area and found many dealers have them discounted and FREE shipping to your house. Found a different dealer had them for $287, and the site has a running promotion for $20 off orders >$75. So got them for $267 before tax.

Did this come with just the bars, or both the foot pack and the bars? Everywhere I keep checking is selling them separately.

This comes with both the footpack and the bars. However, it did not come with the 4 locking cylinders and keys.

How do i apply my rewards point when i order from a dealer?
Typically the service and parts departments are right next to each other. You need to have service redeem them, and you just pay the difference (if applicable). Parts just gave the box to service to finish it, took like 2 extra minutes.

My dealer said I couldn’t use the FordPass points for the Thule crossbars, only the OE on road/off road bars. Anyone else have this issue?

The Thule's look great. I wish I would have waited. I have the OEM Off-road crossbars. They are fairly tall so I'll have to use a flat type rack instead of a roof basket. If I don't I'll risk ripping of my garage door if/when I forget it's on.

Do you know what the weight capacity is on these? I can't seem to find an information and beginning to think I should have waited.
