The rear window can unlock but not the lift gate

Yup, this happens to my BS BB too. When the doors are all locked and I press the rear lift gate button, the rear amber lights flash but doesn’t unlock the rear lift gate...though I can’t recall if it’s always done that or just recently.

Would you mind explaining how to get to that setting? Is it in Setting > Vehicle?

I just experienced this the other day. Unplugging/replugging the cable didnt work, forscan was up to date, even turned engine off/on still no go. I restarted my phone and carplay popped up again. Perhaps a simple reboot of your phone will fix your issue too.

Same since our BS is equipped with Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor that we can check using FordPass app. I’ll just wait until FordPass alerts me. Now the only other thing to decide is whether or not to switch it out to full synthetic on the 1st oil change lol

Thanks for fixing the link. The Paint Protection for Ford.com doesnt cover the entire hood or side fenders so i'm thinking you'll be able to see a line where the rest of the hood/fender doesnt have Paint Protection. I'm going to look around and see if I can get a good deal on covering the whole...
