Mike, I have been considering replacing the turn and brake bulbs with LED's.

There's a lot to choose from. I want a quality bulb that doesn't cause any hyper flashing issues and are plug and play.

What brand did you go with and are you happy with them?

Back when I had my first scooter (2010) and my '14 Escape Titanium, Super Bright Leds and VLEDS were the brands to buy. They are very good quality, but expensive. In my last three cars and two scooters, I've been using Auxito bulbs with good luck. I'm not sure about hyper flashing because I only changed the brake and back-up bulbs on my OBX. That problem is usually associated with turn signals.

Thanks, I'll do more research with those 2 companies. Definitely want to do the turn signals. My understanding is that the better bulbs will eliminate that with built in circuitry.

Speaking of lights out.... is headlight "bulb" replacement (or tail light replacement) a nightmare?
Can it be done without the re-discovery of fire and reinvention of the wheel ???

The reason i ask..... I had a 2011 VW GTi and changing a headlight required the entire front grille of the car to be removed. I wanted to fly to Germany and leave a flaming bag of dog turds on the front steps of the guy who designed that car.

If it's the same deal on the BS, the only consolation is that I will only need to fly (or drive, with a headlight out) to Detroit.
Found this video:
Tail light LED replacement with Diode Dynamics LEDs

I can't vouch for the quality of these LEDs - don't have my BS BL yet. Ordered a '24.

I wonder why they didn't replace the turn signal bulbs also.

Has anyone replaced their turn signal bulbs with LED's?

Just did a little research.

Super Bright LEDs does not have a chart listing anything past 2019.

Diode Dynamics
doesn't list a LED rear turn signal bulb.

Neither does VLED's.

Obviously there must be an issue adding LED's to the rear turn signals for whatever reason on the Sport.

me too, passenger rear twice already. 21 base. bulbs here are like $7.00 and takes like 5 min to change.
not too bad for 70,000kms, i can live with that.

Passenger rear brake light bulb went out on me twice also. Getting about a year out of a bulb.
