Suggested FORSCAN changes

Just joined the FORSCAN CLUB and looking for suggested changes or hidden features for our MY21 BS-OBX

Already did Bambi Mode and SOC to 90% and the splash screen.

While poking around I found a change to put the heated steering wheel control on the sync display so it’s because of this I’m asking if there’s other cool things to enable. It’s the wife’s vehicle and she likes the HSW mod so that’s why I’m asking if there are other features to enable.

yes, it’s State of Charge, there’s a dude on the Ranger 5g who’s been doing lots of battery testing and in his opinion 90% is an ideal setting. I’ll look to see where that setting is.

This is pretty cool. I got my adapter last night and I'm learning about it. I have the 2023 Outer Banks and I want to enable all this cool features. The Bambi Mode sounds cool. How do I enable that?? I'm still a newbie in this Forscan stuff but it does sounds awesome. Thank!

i tried the auto high beam fade way back and it didnt work, unless forscan has changed something

its under high beams settings in body control module. you set it to unrestricted.

you can also set up auto high beam fade on and off, parking lights with drl, fog lights with DRL, disable hyperflash when you have led lamps in the rear brake and signal positions, change tire size, disable double honk, and other chimes, and maybe global windows up and down depending on your trim level. i think thats about all i ended up doing.

with the parking lights wit drl and fog lights with drl do the drl go off with your turn signal?

Yeah drl in headlights still operate normally

I tried different settings and I think I could only get amber to stay on without the white drl.

Changes I've made. Stopped headlight from turning off with signal light, turned off auto door locks, disabled drivers seat belt babysitter, extended the time 12v power port stays on to 6 hours, change battery state of charge to 90% and I removed the double honk if i leave vehicle while its running.
