Has anyone removed the flaps (spats) from in front of the wheels? They're supposed to improve aerodynamics and fuel economy. Just wondering!

2023 BS BL has none from factory
I left mine on - even had to pull the fell liner back into place on the left rear (I have a ‘22” badlands) - apparently I hit something
If you want to remove yours it’s just a few screws so easily removable

These are called deflectors.
Almost all vehicles have them. Sometimes, you have to look very closely to find them.
They deflect the air around the tire/wheel assembly to increase mpg.

I didn't know if this thread was gonna be about arguments or fancy shoe accessories. So glad to have my misunderstanding cleared up. 
I have the same vehicle model/same model year and it has them in front of the rear wheels. Looks weird, but I kinda like 'em.
