I know. I didn’t realize they had changed the design with the new engines to allow you to change it by itself, without having to take apart anything else. My bad I didn’t realize that and I’m not as familiar with all the MY25 changes.

Changing the battery on my '22 was easy. I just took it to the dealer and got my free upgraded replacement. Easy Peasy.

After dealing with my wife's Escape, and having to remove the windshield wiper/motor assys to get to the batteryy. Most new cars make everything terrible to get to.

Opening the BS hood is a joy, everything is right there.

Finally.

Unless you install a new battery...

When they replaced my OE battery last week with the new AGM I watched as he had to remove the air cleaner assembly just to get to it. Took awhile.

Glad to hear the battery removal is easier now, the earlier ones were a bit of a pain with the air intake in the way.
