Thanks! Not sure but I think it’s set up that way now. I think it’s because I’m on data and I’m trying to load it from my phone. Wait, just thought, I can make a quick iPhone video and post that…

Even did a quick ivideo and it won’t load, lol.
Yeah, I tried uploading a quick video as well. It loaded up to 100% then it buffered, and then it said there was a problem uploading and that I should contact the administrator so I don’t know if it’s the size of the video or are, there’s just limits to what we can upload I haven’t done any research yet but maybe there’s an a FAQ about it already

Lets say your Laptop is a Military Grade hardened tough book, like the ones I use at work. It cost 3 Grand. You gonna drag it thru the mud on a camping trip to a rain forest?? No...of course not!

Now lets say your laptop cost 30 THOUSAND dollars.......Yea NOW I am gonna drag it thru the mud in the rain Forest....But because I bought a special solar power adapter and a pole, that allows me to hold it up high....I am good to go!

You bought the wrong Bronco

Well, I was the only one not on 35’s or bigger and only one of a couple of newer vehicles. One guy had a stock Toyota 1/4 ton with 31’s and turned around??

Don’t notice the difference too much on the rocky stuff, just have to go slow and pick your way. The mud and water? It’s either go through or turn around. (We never turned around)

Drove 5hrs there, two days of mud running and then drove it 5hrs home.(after a pressure wash before we left)

Saw a question which brought me back here and I saw I never uploaded the video. Didn't get as far as the 2021 BS we had named "baby" went because this one doesn't have the lift kit yet or the off road tires.(TIRES ARE TOO SMALL!) Worse than that, the traction control was on and since it is different than the 2021 in the heat of the moment (wife yelling at me, lol) had to get towed back out of the greasy stuff. Wife said she won't go back until it is as capable as Baby was.....challenge accepted!!:cwl::cwl::cwl:

Anyway, here is the video from last may 24 weekend;

I have a 2 inch lift and went through about 1 1/2 ft of water last week in my Badlands. The water coming through the pedal holes was enough to convince me I wouldn't be doing any significant water crossings unless it was a survival situation :p

18” .. probably was not the depth that caused seepage inside the vehicle but the bow wave of water

Then there is the ECU mounted within driver side front fender area (‘21-‘24, don’t know about 2025s), but if you only submerged the ECU for a few seconds probably was no permanent water intrusion damage

Hmmm. Ford says the Badlands can safely ford water up to 23.6 inches. We drove a Badlands through water that deep at the Bronco Offroadeo in Texas and experienced no water intrusion into the cabin. How fast did you go through that water?

Yep Ford has stated the 23.6” in various marketing documents for the Bronco Sport and also documents at a max speed of 4mph so the bow wave of water at a higher speed likely is the cause of OP seeing seepage inside the vehicle

One of the posts about the 4mph:
https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/heading-back-to-camp-video.11463/post-194478

In regards to the 23.6”: starting at about 17” (plus/minus depending on tire size, lift, etc.) of water the ECU mounted just forward of driver side front tire begins to go under water. ECU is a “sealed” module but is unknown how long the ECU can be submerged in water before damage occurs. There is both a set of connectors and the ECU Module itself in that area.

There’s about a dozen owners reported ECU issues after driving through deep water, here is just one owners experience (more can be found by searching)

ECU Replaced due to corrosion from water:
