I have ‘21 FE 65k miles.
I’ve done 2 transmission service at 30k and 60k. No issues of shuddering so far.
I replaced my rear diff fluid once and upgraded the breather tube.
Unless that mechanic can back up his claims with a TSB or other document, I won’t believe it’s a common problem and we...
It took some time to respond back to me regarding another issue but they are a small operation with probably one guy answering the emails. Give it some time.
S’Up Sportsters!
I can rightly say I was the first Bronco Sport owner to take part in the annual Bronco Safari. This event has been held in Moab for years, if not for decades with as high as over 4000 participants. However, 2024 was the first year it was held at its new location in Vernal, UT...
I’m gonna answer both your posts here.
you describe the FORD factory fix by taking half the vehicle apart and replace the broken u-channel and railing.
So all welding was done without removing body parts. . Of course all the rear components were removed. Nothing was removed from the interior...

Had 1.5” lift and stock tires before. I was on very very rocky trails and my driving style very aggressive.
However, will be stepping down to 245s next time.
S’up Sportsters! It all ends well but I want to share my experience of really breaking BOTH my rear trail arm/knuckle attachments to the unibody rails.
Disclaimer: This is NOT the recommended “factory fix” from FORD. The views and thoughts expressed here are not that of FORD or given as expert...

Can we talk about the $1,600 for stinking alternator?!?!?
I paid $250 for my guy to remove mine and clean it when it got mudded up.
OEM is like $400?
So $750 at best.
Found a custom shop that can build me a robust alternator for about $600, still under $1000 @ $850 installed.
I stop long ago...
The question you asked, I thought , was in general for the whole model. Either 1.5 or 2.0. There are other "items" not related to the engine choice that effect all models. My reply was about my own Sport experience. I looked at the MY25 offerings and disappointed to say the least. Its like FORD...
I have 21' FE @ 45K. No water pump or RDU issues.....yet. I have taken this heavy off road. I had my alternator mudded up - had that removed and cleaned. Did the tranny service @ 30K. Regular oil changes.
WOW, I wouldn't know my Sport would have so many "break downs" if I didn't log in to this...
