Hmmm that sucks…Another thing to try is do a hard reset.
Press the power button plus the right search track button for a few seconds and the radio should restart with the bronco logo completing its cycle.

I’ll give that a try next time it happens. It’s going in the shop for maintenance this week so I’m gonna have them look at it too. This is second major issue in with this thing, only 6k miles. First was check engine light at 85 miles!

This is a soft reset. A hard reset requires disconnecting the battery for approx 15 min. I would try a factory reset of the SYNC system.

it says it has the latest updates. I feel like it updated automatically recently and that’s when the issues started.

You cannot assume the “it says it has the latest updates” is actually the latest. Go to Settings and locate the screen that says which version is actually installed. If it’s not SYNC 3, Software Version: 3.4 Build 23188 PRODUCT or later you’ll need to install.

In a pinch, you can use the controls on the steering wheel to operate the radio. It’s inconvenient as can be, but it worked for me for about a week, until my dealer could do the synch update when they handled a recent recall.

I’m having the same problem with my BS. The screen is black sometimes. Sometimes the rear camera stays on while driving. Sometimes the screen is blue for extended periods after turning the vehicle off. There is an opt out pop up that keeps popping up even though I answer the question every time. This all started about 3-4 weeks ago and it’s getting worse. The infotainment system is just shot right now.

Mine also is or was doing same , at dealer this am . They did update,now working.

I received a recall notice in the mail for this issue on my BSport Badlands. Ford's remote service team is coming to my home Friday to install the update. I have not had an issue.
