Sir Scam a lot

I’ve had my 26 bronco sport Badlands for about one month. Since I bought it, I have been inundated with scam, emails scam, phone calls, and scam letters, supposedly from the warranty division. Did my dealership or did Ford sell my information? It is really getting on my nerves.

They scrape auto registration records.

Literally the exact same thing has been happening to me for the past 2 months since I received my 26 badlands. I never correlated the 2 together. Interesting as its so bad it gets in the way of my business.

Yea, they are annoying. I get calls/texts from me clients all the time shortly after they purchase a vehicle with those warranty phishing letters.

I actually begin to scream, grunt, and suggestively moan each time I receive a call.
I also find pleasure in putting them on speaker while playing Barney songs.

I prefer the incredibly heavy breathing / grunting into the phone and repeating what they say to confirm it… usually gets them to hang up lol

My phone silences all unknown numbers and sends them to voice mail. 99% don't leave a message. The ones that do are legit calls and I just add them to my contacts.

As far as spam texts (rare), I just delete & report as spam in one swipe.

Spam email is already in the junk folder without any action on my part. Less than 1% false positive/negative leakage. I just empty that folder periodically without even reviewing them.

Problem solved.

I will say, the “silence unknown callers” feature is my favorite thing ever. lol

I light them up when they call my job. On a recorded line, too.

My phone lets me record calls with a simple push of a button. Before recording the phone makes an announcement that it will be recording the conversation. Spam calls hang up immediately.
