Shout out to Discount Tire

I replaced my Falken Tires in October with 235/70R17 Wrangler Workhorse AT's. So far, I've been very happy with them. Last weekend on a desert javelina hunt, I punctured a sidewall by running over a creosote bush. My low tire pressure light came on just 2 miles after I got on pavement. I pulled the branch out, plugged it, and pumped it back up. Made it home on that without changing my tire.

I was really wishing I'd purchased Discount's Road Hazard Warranty. I took it in to Discount, and they said they'd prorate it even without the road hazard warranty. Just had to pay for the mounting and balancing. I'm going back hunting this week, so I decided to purchase the warranty. For all 5 tires it was about what a new tire would have cost. I've been buying tires at Discount since 1979, for good reason.

Like the OP, I'm a huge fan of Discount Tire. Have their road hazard insurance on the tires on both cars, and won't buy tires anywhere else.

I have been going to Discount Tire for 25+ years. Love how they treat me, even with tires I didn't buy there (i.e. new car) - will fix a flat no matter what.

With four kids and 6+ cars over the years, DT has been great. Suggest you make an appointment for whatever you need. You walk past the line at 8am.
