VERY COOL. WE will have them check.Ok don't panic (yet) and this may sound crazy but it happened to us with about the same
miles on it. Ready for this our BS FE had two extra quarts of oil in the crankcase from the factory.
This may not be your problem but it's worth checking it out. I'm the Commercial Sales Manager
at Helfman Ford in Stafford, TX. Our Service Folks drained the extra oil out and we have not had an alert in the 12K miles since then... Good luck...

I am sorry for your misfortune. Has the issue been resolved yet?So disappointing….. Brand new vehicle with less than 900 miles and the check engine like comes on.
Nope.. we stopped by the dealership yesterday, after using the “chat” option on their site and being told the service department was open. They were not.I am sorry for your misfortune. Has the issue been resolved yet?
I have been at the local Ford dealership for 2.5 hrs so far. I am having 3 issues looked at: the noise at lower speeds (presumably the MPR cable), the LCD screen intermittently goes black, and the wind sound over the roof of the BS. I will update on this forum when I know more.Nope.. we stopped by the dealership yesterday, after using the “chat” option on their site and being told the service department was open. They were not.
I ended up writing a note and having the salesman leave it on the service managers desk. Hopefully we will hear something back today.
For now, she has the rental car and is able to work.
Thank you for the update. Hopefully you don’t have to be there much longer. Sounds like they are working on yours at least. Ours still hadn’t been moved when we were there yesterday.I have been at the local Ford dealership for 2.5 hrs so far. This is why I love Fords, but hate so many of their dealerships. Way to ruin what could have been a great customer service experience. How long would it take them to pull this into a bay and hook up a diagnostic scanner. At least they would show they cared and would likely be able to provide some additional information and options.
I would call Ford at 800-392-3673 and escalate this.
Still haven’t heard anything back from the dealership. So, I decided to drive through their lot on my break this morning and the Bronco is still sitting in the same place. She is going to call the dealership today and then Ford at the number mentioned to see if they have any way to speed things up.Ok don't panic (yet) and this may sound crazy but it happened to us with about the same

Jeez..... this is crazy. I know companies are short staffed and what not but this is ridiculous. Seems like they will get to you when they are ready too. Not sure of your situation but I would call another local Ford dealership and explain my issues. See if they would take it in if I had it towed over to them.Update,
She called and spoke with a rep who told her the guy who was supposed to call her was out sick and she would have him call when he returned to work. My wife told the girl this was not acceptable and wanted a call back from someone by the end of the day. She was polite and respectful, and explained the situation.
When we got home from work tonight, she told me she had not received a call from anyone at the dealership.
She will be calling the number tomorrow. Hopefully they can do something about this.
Two weeks to repair transmission.............. BS! and that's not Bronco Sport!Update
So,, the dealership finally started the process today. They said the fluid levels were not an issue and the transmission needs to be completely torn down. This is supposed to take a minimum of two weeks.
At this point, I would think Ford would want to have the dealership send them this bad transmission and just replace it with a new one. Like mentioned, this way they would prevent future issues.
at this point, I feel inclined to research our lemon law options. The vehicle was purchased in Idaho, and we live in Oregon. What I read last night was,Two weeks to repair transmission.............. BS! and that's not Bronco Sport!
New Transmission, and send the other back so the engineer's can look at it.
