Some owners of full size Broncos reported success with adding additional GOAT modes with FORscan. I tried to add the Mud mode to my Outer Banks and it did not work. I used the Easy mode of FORScan rather than the AS-Built. Anyone able to get this to work?

I believe your main issue with doing this is that the OBX model will not have the same hardware underneath required for that mode. So even if you were able to add that mode to your computer, your car wouldn’t be able to even do it physically.
I could be wrong however but in my little time researching that topic that’s what I found.

I am certain that you are correct on higher modes like Baja. That only works on three BS trim level. and will certainly require more advanced equipment. Here are some charts I found on the GOAT modes. These are from the full size Bronco website:

So the first chart looks to be for full size Broncos due to it having Black Diamond and Wildtrak on there which would not apply to Sport models. The second chart also proves us above correct because it says for ā€œMudā€ GOAT mode that you would need a front and rear lock which OBX does not have.

Those look like charts applicable to Full Size Bronco (2nd chart contains ā€œSway Discā€ applicable to full size)

Interesting discussion. I've been curious about forscan but haven't tried it yet.

I am wonderign what they mean by 2H in the normal and eco mode. I can watch my awd screen and see it aplying power to rear wheels when accelerating in both the normal and eco modes, or are they just talking about steady state cruzing?

so no berring on this forum at all them.. thats to bad, I would like to know what all the modes do for the bronco sport, don't care about the full size bronco really
thereā€˜s threads on this forum that do expand on that. Plenty of material out there that goes into detail on the Sports intelligent AWD system

Nicest feature I have found on mine with Forscan was to add all the climate information to the PCM screen just like my Ford Escape had. If you have heated seats and steering wheel, you can also add those controls to the screen.

is that a code chage or one of the options available? I also have seen that some one has added the cabability to change the color on the accent lighting.
