I don't think he's giving it away, I think he got it for free off an Escape
You are right. People are begging for engine covers, one person offered to sell theirs for $2,200 (joking). And OP got theirs free. That’s nice.

don't forget checking under the hood of a Lincoln for one of these (for the 2.0 engine)

It is a luxury upgrade :giggle:

I'm not joking...I've reduced the price down to $1100.00 plus free shipping.

Serious question:
Should I keep the engine cover of my '17 Escape before I take delivery of my '24 Badlands?
WIll the dealer downgrade my trade-in because of a missing cosmetic engine cover?
The dealer will probably never notice. Do it. :)

I doubt they even open the hood to look!

If they down grade it because it is missing (assuming they open the hood to look), you can play dumb (easy for me) and say you removed it the other day to <make something up here>, and will go home to get it. I'm betting they won't care, and will not want you to leave the dealership in fear they loose a sale.

Take the engine cover off your Escape, then delete this post. You don't want to leave an evidence trail...

The trail is still there, as removing my own post doesn't remove the replies to my post(s).
