When you get a chance can you post up pic of vacuum brake booster?
Turns out it's not easy to get a decent photo of it. It's mounted on the firewall almost directly behind the battery. The photo below is is the best I could do. It's take from the middle of the engine bay looking back and toward the driver's side.

You can see the fluid reservoir in the upper right of the photo. The two small-diameter tubes that come down out of the reservoir and bend 90 degrees to the left run to the ABS module on the passenger side of the engine bay.

The photo below is the brake booster on a Ford F-150. If you could get all the stuff out of the way, the one in the Bronco Sport would look very similar. The vacuum hose on the Bronco Sport is in the same place as in the photo below.

Here's mine. With the 360+. As you can see no vacuum lines or vacuum canister. So does appear there is 2 different boosters used.
Agreed. The electric booster strongly resembles the ABS module on my car, with the four brake lines going out to each wheel. It appears yours is an integrated system, i.e. the brake booster and ABS module are one assembly.

I looked on Ford etis and this is what is shown for braking on our Nov 8 build for brakes. Brakes-TS/HLA/ESP/TC/ABS.
No idea if some of the abbreviations. Mine is recalled.

Also this is a quote from the person handling the recall at the Dept of Transportation. “please note that the defect was determined to be with the rear brake linings, but the remedy will replace the front and/or rear brake linings, if necessary:” I think this helps to clarify.

I looked at mine & took some photo's , ours has a Vacuum Booster , which is fine with me . The only thing I can see that looks like a sensor or what may be plugged into an electrical connection on the Booster assembly, is the white Plug that is blurred in the background of the first photo, if that is indeed what this issue may be about . We just done know yet .

Just got a recall notice from Ford in the mail. This clears everything up. LOL It doesn't say anything about front or rear brakes. It only mentions "parts".

Clear as mud. The two most important sentences on the page:

Ford has not issued instructions to stop driving your vehicle under this compliance recall. You can continue to safely drive your vehicle.

In other words, stop worrying and enjoy your Bronco Sport!

I hope the "stop worrying" wasn't directed at me. I was just adding info to the stuff I've been reading on here. This recall doesn't bother me in the least. I'll drive it the way it is indefinitely.

No sir! Not directed at anyone in particular. I've read several posts in different threads expressing safety concerns regarding driving with an outstanding recall. The notice you posted should serve to allay any such fears.

Yea that’s really great for everyone who got the BS before recall hit. Lol but some of us stuck now waiting for a Remedy to become available so we can pick ours up. But from what I hear it’s worth the wait.

It's definitely worth the wait. I placed my original order for a fully loaded Rapid Red Badlands on March 9th then had to deal with three reschedules before becoming part of the June Lot Rot group and then the FDM recall as well. Finally took delivery on 12/09 exactly nine months after I placed the original order. It just stinks that you didn't take delivery before the brake recall hit. I had to wait 3 months just for the FDM part to become available. Hope you get yours soon as well.
