Also this is a quote from the person handling the recall at the Dept of Transportation. “please note that the defect was determined to be with the rear brake linings, but the remedy will replace the front and/or rear brake linings, if necessary:” I think this helps to clarify.

I looked on Ford etis and this is what is shown for braking on our Nov 8 build for brakes. Brakes-TS/HLA/ESP/TC/ABS. No idea if some of the abbreviations. Mine is recalled.
