That's looking good!
What brad are the lights on the bar?
Audexen 7” work lights - based on the mount bracket angle and their size, I had to offset it just a tad. I grabbed some 2” metal joiner plates, drilled out the holes larger to fit the mounting bolts. I just need to powder coat them (and probably all the mounting hardware) and it’s will look fairly clean. No huge rush to get that done though.

You might have sold me on the mesh overlay.

It was easy. I think I have links to the mesh and rubber trim in an earlier post. I might play around with different insert molding to create a better fit/look. But it beats the exposed plain look of the lights mounted on the plastic honeycomb.
When I have a full day to devote to working on the car, I’ll most likely create a full cast mold of the upper grill section. Then use the cast mold to pound down the mesh so it fits completely into all the recessed areas and not just the 3 sections where the lights are. I’m missing mesh in the small connector gaps between the lights.

Here is a photo of the offset I had to do for the lights. The mounts on the nudge bar are set at a 45 degree angle after install. With the brackets installed for the lights, the lights would not fit correctly, they would point down to the street.
So, I Jerry-rigged this offset and it works perfectly fine.

Same here. I'm thinking the mesh would be great over all the openings.
Did you take the grill off to do the lights?
I haven't found a grill removal video yet but i'm going to dive into it soon. Maybe I'll video it.

no, I didn’t have to take the grill off.The entire bumper/grille is one piece that takes a lot of effort to get off.

when I’m don’t with work, I’ll take photos of what I took off from under the hood to access the area that I installed the Raptor Lights. Super simple and easy access.

I've had a set of lights for months and now with the weather breaking I am about to tackle installation...Research I found is there is a fuse in the engine compartment for aftermarket lighting that will shut off like driving lights...a simple fuse tap for these is what I plan to try...coming in and out of fuse panel is the only thing I have not decided on...any input?

Can you share the information on the engine compartment fuse for aftermarket lighting i think that would be very helpful not only to myself but many others also. Thanks

we all saw that fuse in the engine compartment. But researching throughout the forum, everyone has expressed that the engine fuse box and wiring is a nightmare.

you’re better off getting a relay control box and a separate switch. Some switches have backlit displays where you would run a fuse tap into fuse #3 in the passenger side interior panel.

the only splicing I had to do with all the lighting I added to my BS was small side marker turn signal lights in the air vent clip ins. I spliced those straight to my headlight turn signals because they drew less than 2amps. But everything else I did was into a separate relay control tapped straight to the battery.

Tapped into Number 3 trying to get it across to drivers side any tips. Yes engine compartment box looks like nightmare. and trouble. Anybody know where the wires are located for the aftermarket lighting fuse.

what are you trying to power?

I pushed my wire straight through the passenger side firewall. It’s just above the fuse box. A quick punch through will get you under the hood and you can run it to the driver side from there.
I have my relay controller on my driver side, and that’s the easiest way I was able to run the tap to my relay box which then transfers that power source to my backlit switch. Relay box connects straight to battery

Yes, the fuse box in the engine bay is a sealed unit. Although it has a port labeled "aftermarket auxiliary lighting", no one knows what the hell it's for or how to access it.
The interior #3 is on with ignition but I have heard it shuts off with auto stop, no big deal.
There is a small path where the center console meets the firewall that I am going to fish a wire through to put a small switch on the steering column so I can shut them off if I want.
After that there is a rubber grommet behind the door that people are poking a hole through while maintaining a seal that leads right in next to the battery.
Been looking into this for a while and that's my plan o far

The switches I used do have back-lit writing...it is always on but very low voltage pull...use Buck daily but have had it sit unused for a few days with no problem...
