Ordered March 7th
On 3/31 given production date of May 30
On 4/14 date changed to 6/6
On 5/20 date changed to 6/13
On 6/8 date changed to 6/20
At 1:45 this morning production date changed to 6/27

This is absolutely ridiculous, people have lives, we need to be able to make plans, we need to be able to secure financing before the Fed jacks the interest rates up even more.

Honestly. Those dates you had were never realistic. Average time seems to be about 6 months? It will have been 7 when I get mine. So if you’re in that range - I’d say your very much in the normal range, and don’t expect it In less.

It depends on the options taken. I ordered the day after the one you quoted and my ride has been sitting at the railhead for 3 days waiting on a truck to bring it to me. All the big packages (convenience, tech, premium) seem to be the thing that holds up and delays builds.

If your date is changing your unit is not in production yet. This metric is only for the time between invoiced (in production, window sticker available) and built.
That was my assumption, hoping not to get pushed into the 2023 model year.

They won't start building MY2023 vehicles until probably November. Ordering for MY2023 starts in August. I know that typically a 2023 would be available around August of 2022 but that is not what is happening right now.

I wonder what the record is for build dates? January 13 I ordered BS Badlands with tow package and larger tires.
So far Ford told me Week of:
May 23
May 30
May 23 (again)
May 30 (again)
June 13
June 20
June 27
Not confident, but hopeful.

The past two date changes were emailed in the middle of the night (very early Wednesday AM). I’m going to assume I’ll get another one this week, and my understanding is that the assembly line will be shut down for two weeks after the week of 6/27 so assuming the next date will be delayed to 7/18.

For what it’s worth, I ordered November 12 and didn’t even get scheduled until March 31 with an initial build week of June 6. And my date changed just as much as yours has, OP. This is finally my build week, more than seven months after my order was confirmed, and you have to figure a couple more months before I can take delivery. If I’d had your timeline I’d be happy right now.

I’m just kickign myself for thinking this was going to be a good idea.

I just wish I had some way of knowing if this would be here before September when my current lease expires. Otherwise I’m up a creek.
Is your current lease with Ford? If so you should be able to extend month to month if need be.

Ours is a fully loaded BadLands and it hit the dealer in under 5 months.

That's about a month before a lot of ones with premium package.

My advice is dump the tires.

I'm BL with Premium, moonroof, tow, 360+.

I couldn't get scheduled until I dumped the larger tires and then I got scheduled the very next week. I ordered 12/1, so six weeks before you, and just got my Built email on Saturday.
