A little dirt road driving to get to a camping spot near Usal Beach at the southern end of the lost coast in Northern CA.

Made it to Taos and I have been on a quest for Bighorn photos. Shot 700 frames the past couple of days. Love northern NM. I'm OD'd on green chilis. I'll attach some photos. The pic by the bridge is in the lower Rio Grande Gorge. Pull up to the top of that mesa from the bridge.

Took a forest road and trail from Questa , NM to Red River today. Then had some good BBQ at Red River Brewing Company. After lunch drove up to the summit of Greenie Peak.

It's one of the tallest peaks in New Mexico's Sangre de Christo range. Not a dangerous trail, but rough and rocky. It's been raining and it had some ruts and potholes. Not enough dirt up there to get stuck. It has a gazillion humps across the trail that can land you on your nose if you drive straight across. I had a front wheel in the air and hit my trailer hitch twice going up. The Bronco's trail control worked great coming down, even over these humps. A tremendous view from the top.

As I was driving up, I shared with Carolyn taking our now- grown grandson up there on a four-wheeler when he was five or six. When we got to the top he said, "Grand Dad, Are we on top of the world? I replied, "Damn near it!" Shining times.

I read they have fenced off some of these sculptures....I wanted to get pic like this at night with Milkyway.....but that may not able to be possible anymore, I may just go and find out.

These are from about a month ago on the top of Pikes Peak in the Colorado Springs area. Lived here for 20 years and I'd never gone up there. I'm not a typical Colorado guy.
