I had the same issue and it ended up being a bad brake light bulb.

Seems odd that so many owners, myself included, are replacing the rear right-hand side brake light bulb.

That is what I understand as well. It has been discussed in many threads on this forum.

FWIW, lighter bike, around 185 lbs plus the weight of the hitch rack, but I don't even notice it on the back of the Bronco Sport. Definitely does not seem to effect handling in experience.

I've used the Carhart seat covers on our Badlands for the last two years without issues.

Mine quickly cracked all the way across.

From my understanding, if you lock the car using the door keypad it will not start again unless unlocked using the keypad even if the key fob is inside the vehicle. I've not tested this but remember reading that is how it was designed to prevent what you are describing.
