Got a lot of compliments, which I wasn't expecting. I originally wanted Iconic Silver, but Area 51 grew on me pretty quickly. I think my only complaint is that it shows water spots fairly easily opposed to Silver/White, but you'd probably have that issue with most colors anyways.
Love how the color changes depending on how the light hits it. One evening the setting sun was hitting it right it, almost looked like cactus grey it’s an awesome color. The area 51 is part chameleon, area 51 will always surprise you. There is only one Area 51.It honestly shifts colors. Bright light it has a blueish tone, overcast or early evening it seems more blue/grey. I bought touchup paint and in the bottle it looks really grey, I tested it and can't see where I brushed it.
I'd argue anything but powder blue. Area 51 seems about right. Alien skin?

That’s hard man. I actually almost got rapid red, it was at a closer dealer but someone threw down on it sooner. 51 was my preference though, was doing all I could to score a Badlands.You may be right, I thought the Rapid Red would be great, but now it will the the Sun Bleached Red before it gets here........
Thanks, I took a risk and as I laid out the B...I knew it was what I wanted. If not...I was out about five bucks worth of film and an hour of my time on the cutter and weeding out the empty spaces. I'm very happy with the end result.
Nah...think of it like this, no rust, and the paint will be hard cured and tough as nails. My best paint days are 100+ the bodies just cure cleaner. With today's paints and clear it will be great.You may be right, I thought the Rapid Red would be great, but now it will the the Sun Bleached Red before it gets here........
I agree a hundred percent. I thought the color actually was cactus green because of that look when the light hits it right. Area 51 looks almost like that when the light hits right in my opinion.
I'd say all the colors shift a lot depending on lighting. I have area 51. It's blue it's grey blue, it's green blue...it really shifts a lot but in a good way
