Hi:
My Bronco sport badlands with 35,000 miles is in for service for its 40,000 mile service. They said I need new tires (said at #3) whatever that means. I have 225/65 R17 A/T Tires which came with the car.
I wouldn’t mind them looking a bit cooler than these tires, but I want a tire that is smooth and not noisy. I do not do any off-roading- mostly highway miles and local. The dealer quoted me $1000 for basic tires. . Should I go with the same tires or better tires and if so, any suggestions?
Where should go to get the tires put on besides the dealer? The best price. Service. Location near Tysons Corner. Thank you.

Way to much for basic tires. Not sure what you have now, mine came with the Pirellis & have 600 miles on them. I'm changing to the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's in 235 65 17.

You can get them from tire rack for 586.00 for 4 with free delivery. The AT4's are out now & just a little more. If you were a little closer I'd give ya the Pirelli's for free. Shop around theres better deals out there!!

You can also check Discount Tire. They’ve got two shops in Fredricksburg (which may be a bit far for you). They’re a solid national chain and I’ve always had an excellent experience with them for over 40 years.

Check out Nokian One tire, 60k tread warranty and best wet condition tire I've ever had, smooth and quiet. It's the only brand I use now and for the last 15 years.

Whatever tire you decide on, make sure to get your alignment checked.

I went with Toyo Open Country A/T III. They are slightly noisier than the original Falkens, but the ride quality is a bit better.

If you're more interested in road manners than off-road chops then you should stick with the narrower 225 series tires. You'll have a lot of options for quiet, excellent-handling all-season radial tires, and you will get better fuel economy with narrower tires.

The Wildpeaks are exceptional. I’m going to put a set on my Silverado too

unfortunately, the factory issued Falken Wildpeaks currently on my Badlands dont look like they are going to go past 40K miles

now to go with the AT3 or AT4? there’s other threads on that.

For replacement tires, I went with FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T4W 235/65R17 (Item # 28841790), Warranty “up to 65,000 Miles”

But why not go with the same tires as on the 2025 Bronco Sport which is a (new) optional tire on certain ‘25 BS models

Here's an oddity: There seems to be quite a number of vendors selling this tire, but I can't find a listing for it on Goodyear's website. What's up with that?

There is a Wrangler version (Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17) but the tread looks different from what’s available on 2025 Bronco Sports and that Wrangler was available well before Ford announced the 2025 with optional Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17

Can you provide some links to a “Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17” ?

From what I’ve found so far Goodyear has not made the Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17 available (yet) except possibly thru Ford Dealerships but I have not yet confirmed the tires can be purchased at a dealership (I assume you can)

I had planned to call Goodyear last week to ask for the new tire part # but I forgot so I’ll do that next week

Here is a pic of a recent owners post for a 2025 Bronco Sport with the Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17 tire. It does not say Wrangler on the sidewall. Can’t quite see the tires part number.

Would like to see if you found the Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17 in the list of vendors selling this tire - when I looked a few weeks ago it was not the same tire as available on the 2025s

A vote for the Falken wild peaks, I got the AT-3s, AT-4s should be just as good if not better. Love them for a year +, expect them to be there for me for many more to come. Two solid crappy winters of driving. Great results. I used, Tire Rack, had a local shop do all the grunt work. Out the door total for less than $800, Very good value in my opinion.

I really enjoy my wild peaks. I'd go to Discount Tire and have them do a spot check. They one by me, the guys are very honest. $1,000 for install is on the higher end to me, especially if you are just getting all weather tires versus all terrain. Does that $1k include 4 wheel alignment? If so, then that does sound somewhat reasonable. I think they run around $300 by me for that service. Anyway, you should be able to get tires for below $200 each installed, no alignment.

A follow-up thought, it most likely makes sense to do a 4wheel alignment when getting new rubber. Even with only a reasonable amount of on road time ,kicks the suspension around some.
Small price to help preserve the new tire investment, and over all better road experience.
