As long as you’ve got a basic socket set and ratchet, this should be a 15-20 minute install for you.Makes sense to me. By the way, the skid plate arrived today. Fast shipping! Now all I need to do is make an appointment to get it installed. Maybe the local muffler shop would be cheaper than the dealership.

It attaches to existing mounting points, no-drill no-cut installation.Does it attach with existing bolt threaded inserts or holes or do you need to add them?
I'm not sure I'll ever change oil w/o changing the filter also...so drain plug-only access is moot, for me anyway.Agreed, we just followed the way Ford made their OEM plastic where they have only oil change port . However, we've added that strength of 1/4-in thick aluminum there of course...
Why? Badlands has a steel bash plate already. But then adding BOTH drain plug and oil filter accesses (w/o removing the whole bash plate) might be pretty great if they did that. Changes are taking me 1:15 every time (4x now). When you expect will have the one for Badlands?
Much thanks for the offer, but I’m in Nashville, TennesseeIf you’re in the northeast I’d do it for you pigpen.
The dealership will be doing my oil changes. They can remove the entire thing and change the filter and the oil.I'm not sure I'll ever change oil w/o changing the filter also...so drain plug-only access is moot, for me anyway.
