Has anyone on here moved from the Bronco Sport to the full size Bronco and regretted it? I am a little torn between the two. The car will be my daily driver and I think thats my biggest concern. The Sport seems far more practical for that but, also less fun than the full sized. I THINK I could live with the full size but wondering if anyone has tried that and had second thoughts or wished they could go back?

Interesting question for sure. I know some on here have switched. I’d be curious to know too for sure, as I chose the Sport for among other reasons, being what I thought of as a ā€˜better’ daily driver. Smaller size/packaging for the city, better economy, and honestly the fixed roof.

When I’m retired running around the desert SW I’ve said my next vehicle would be the full-size.

Not yet! I have a 2 door Badlands on order but because of allocations and the fact Ford won’t let you move your order, I bought the Badlands Sport as a gap vehicle. I will say the Sport probably makes more sense based on my use case but no one has accused me of having too much sense. I’ll let you now for sure in a year or two.

Besides the better gas mileage and cargo space, I feel happier and safer in a Sport. They've got a little more zip than the big Bronco and have less trouble fitting into tight spaces. Additionally, the wind noise with the big Bronco is a lot more noticable. We drive a literal box with our Sports but mine is still nice and quiet. The big Bronco, not so much.

I like the look of the big Bronco more, but man, the Sport is still a gorgeous vehicle. For the limited amount of off roading I do as compared to plenty of daily driving, I am 100% confident in my choice. Even the Big Bend I've got now is insanely capable for everything I do. The Badlands I've ordered will allow me to have even more fun.

That being said, if you'd like a big Bronco anytime soon, I hope you win the lottery! The dang things aren't cheap unless you're willing to wait an unknown amount of time.

Considering the full size gets the same or worse mileage than my old 18 f150 and has a smaller tank than the f150 I don't think I could justify it for the limited amount of trail running I do (despite wanting to do more lol)

If you find good places to take the Sport let me know. I tend not to go too far ā€˜off road’ since I’m usually traveling alone & the dog isn’t much use if I get into trouble, which is likely given my lack of experience. Plenty of oilfield roads, logging roads, etc to drive down though.

I sold my full size Badlands, SAS, LUX soft top. Waiting for my Bronco Sport Badlands Lux while I wait for my other full size Badlands, 2 door, SAS, LUX hard top. Didnt like my 4 door that the dealer talked me into to change my original order. I ordered a sport to hold me over for which is in production already. My 2 door probably wont be ready for at least a year or 2. Who knows maybe I will keep the sport!?ā€ā™‚

If I was able to get my hands in a 2 door green badlands…I’d go for it.

Yep, I have. Went from a '21 BS BL to a '21 2dr OBX. Love it. To be fair it kind of fell in my lap, my dealer had a abandoned order and offered it to me for MSRP, how could I say no. I love my Bronco, there isn't a day that I regret buying it. Yes, its gas mileage is nothing to write home about but who buys these things for MPG, if you are worried about that then you should stick with a BS. They are totally different beasts, the Bronco is a truck and the BS is a SUV. Each has its market, buy the one that fits your needs and $$. You did sum it up pretty well, the BS is more practical but the Bronco is more fun, pop the top and the doors and head out to the wilderness or beach

We still have a BS in family, my wife has a '22 BS BL which she also loves.

Thank you for sharing! Glad to hear you are happy with your Bronco. :)

Wish I had a definitve answer for you, but I don't. We have both (I drive the BS, my husband the fullsize.) Originally the fullsize was for me, but during the order/build wait I had the chance to grab a BS FE and jumped on it. Loved it so much I decided to keep and husband took the fullsize. That said, I comment frequently to him "I don't know if I'd be able to give up the BS and go strictly to the fullsize..." (if we were to downsize to one or the other.) I love them both so much and the BS is really nice as a highway/daily driver. Like you, the appeal (the "fun") of the fullsize is important too.

For ME, the closest thing to a deciding factor is the ability to sleep in the back (of the BS) without having to make up the difference in the 4" drop behind the seat that the fullsize has. Also, easier to park in smaller areas, though the fullsize isn't as bad as the Raptor we had before. And gas mileage def a consideration, now more than ever.

Maybe write down an old-fashioned Pros/Cons list and weight each item with it's desirability for you? Good luck, I don't want to have to make that decision!
