I’m looking for a new mini-spare tire with wheel to fit on my 2025 BS Outer Banks with OEM 225/60R18 tires. I’ve been told a 155/85R18 (with a 5X108 bolt pattern on the wheel) will be a fit without raising the cargo cover. Would you believe Ford doesn’t sell them, and even Discount Tire tells me they have a tire, but maybe not a proper wheel?

I found the perfect one on-line at Modern Spare, but it is ridiculously expensive and out of stock until at least mid-Aug:
https://modernspare.com/product/2021-2025-ford-bronco-sport-spare-tire-kit-options/

I don’t like to buy on e-bay.

Any suggestions, besides stealing my neighbor’s spare in his 2023?

I gather you don’t have an interest in a full size spare?

Hit your local junkyards and tire shops. Some people buy a full size spare when their new car only has the mini, and will leave the mini at the tire shop. If you find one, have them try it on for size before you leave.

I’d love to have a full-size spare, but I don’t think a full-size will fit in the wheel well of the cargo space in the 2025 Outer Banks.

Should fit just fine. The floor will be flush with the rear seats when down.

I was thinking of trying to find a spare tire for mine, too. The other question I have is do I even have a jack to be able to change a tire. I looked, I have the pump setup with sealant, but didn’t see a jack.

Probably not. Ford got rid of the Jack when they got rid of the spare. Plenty available on EBay or your local scrap/junk yard.

I bought an OEM full size spare, jack, and hold down from a breakers yard.

My '25 came with the inflater, fuel fill, and tow eye bolt in a foam insert in the wheel well. Now I have no place to store them.

What size OEM full size spare did you add to your 2025?
@Mt Goat is looking for an answer if a full size Sasquatch tire (Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17, Part # (aka Product Code):
710004933) will fit as a spare for the 2025s

Pretty sure you’d have to do some trimming, the full size spare on the BL SAS is a 225/65 R 17 Pirelli. I think a 235 would shove the floor up as is.

If it cools off some, I may put one of the stock shoes in there to test. It’s 110 in my garage these days, so it’s not high on my to-do list. :)

I have no trouble with a full size 225/65 R 17 Pirelli spare in my 2022 Badlands

Others put in various brands of 235/65 R 17 spares no trouble

You don’t need to test out - I only asked to see what size spare you went with for your 2025 because Mt Goat is looking for an answer if the full size Sasquatch tire specifically Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17, Part # (aka Product Code): 710004933 will fit as a spare for the 2025s

That specific tire is the question about fitment

I guess if a 235/65R17 is fitting in the wheelwell on some 2025 BS’s, then a 225/60R18 should fit. I think the other folks are talking about a Sasquatch Badlands, and I have a (non-Sasquatch) Outer Banks. If I’m going to get a full-size spare, I would want to get the same after-market wheel, so I’d want an 18”, not a 17”. I’ll think I’ll just go out and measure the wheelwell.

Let us know if u measure the wheelwell in your 2025 non-Sasquatch Outer Banks

I thought all ‘21-‘24 models have same size wheelwell

I don’t know about 2025s

Full size 235 fits fine. Floor fits in the top groove. It’s level with the rear seats.
