Yours looks awesome! That lettering is really cool! How did you do it?I’ll circle back to the thread and share my final product.
My bronco horse looks smaller then yours, if mine comes off I’m heading to the dealership. Diamond vinyl decals did my overlay lettering. They did good.Yours looks awesome! That lettering is really cool! How did you do it?
My problem is that I get stuck on stuff matching and decided that I'd just stare at it if it didn't match the steering wheel haha
JMO as a not well experienced Plasti-dipper, but I think you're over-masking. It breaks at the edges because of the heavy coat and extreme angle. You intentionally overspray it onto the body, and peel off the excess. Someone else, or a Yootoob video might offer more help.It would pull away and leave a bit of white.
Thanks. I'll keep it in mind next go. Didn't have that issue with the back though and did the same thing.JMO as a not well experienced Plasti-dipper, but I think you're over-masking. That’s cool! As a suggestion, I think I would do the blackout overlay on the Ford oval in a silver and black combo (or the carbon)I’ll circle back to the thread and share my final product.
You were able to reuse the side badges after removal? The side badges peel right off. I had to relocate them higher up when I put the side moldings on that overlapped the badge....... Very poor design intuitiveness.
