Update: I bit the bullet and did it. Very pleased with how it turned out. I ended up purchasing an OEM Bronco emblem from Ford through the dealership.

Yours looks awesome! That lettering is really cool! How did you do it?
My problem is that I get stuck on stuff matching and decided that I'd just stare at it if it didn't match the steering wheel haha

My bronco horse looks smaller then yours, if mine comes off I’m heading to the dealership. Diamond vinyl decals did my overlay lettering. They did good.

Went the plast-dip route. LOVED the look - 1st go on the back. Did it 3 times on the front. Couldn't get it to stay adhered at the edges when I removed the excess. It would pull away and leave a bit of white. My OCD hated it. I like the vinyl less, but it is at least consistent in the edge. I may break down and hand paint them...oof. But I'm not to that point yet. Also have a chrome bronco to put opposite of the ford emblem I'm going to black and chrome. I havn't decided if I'm going to leave the bronco chrome or black it out as well...

It would pull away and leave a bit of white.

JMO as a not well experienced Plasti-dipper, but I think you're over-masking. It breaks at the edges because of the heavy coat and extreme angle. You intentionally overspray it onto the body, and peel off the excess. Someone else, or a Yootoob video might offer more help.

Thanks. I'll keep it in mind next go. Didn't have that issue with the back though and did the same thing.

That’s cool! As a suggestion, I think I would do the blackout overlay on the Ford oval in a silver and black combo (or the carbon)

The side badges peel right off. I had to relocate them higher up when I put the side moldings on that overlapped the badge....... Very poor design intuitiveness.

You were able to reuse the side badges after removal?

So they’re just on there by adhesive?

Yep, cheap plastic letters glued on with tape. I removed the smaller "Sport" from my rig by just pulling them off with my fingers. There was a bit of the tape remaining which easily came off using a plastic trim tool and 90% isopropyl alcohol. I applied Meguiars Exterior Detail spray to shine her up. Took about 10 minutes.

Not a fan of the white Bronco Sport tailgate lettering and removed mine completely. I did add the Ford OEM Bronco badge to offset the Ford oval badge. Looks less busy without the lettering IMO.
