I am shocked that Ford still uses the lowest quality of plastics available. They scratch with a finger nail. No different than the POS 2007 Ford Focus I had. My 2020 GT is the same, all that hard plastic is so easily scratched. I have owned BMW's, Porsche's and they all use plastics. Its just the quality of the plastics in the BMW and PCars are just so much better quality. How much more could it be to have a better quality plastic?
No offense, but this is a bad take comparing a Ford to BMW/Porsche.

I would agree but Japanese cars have better plastics as well. I understand the economics of it, and like I said I love my BL. I own a 2020 Mustang GT and a 2015 Ford Focus SE. It is something I have learned to accept.

In my experiences with plastics, they all get scratched and fade over time. Unfortunately for the plastics in a hot and humid place such as where I live (Florida), it escalates the issues pertaining to length of life and durability.
I would much rather have a light weight aluminum skid plate than a cheap plastic one. Common sense tells me these should not be made out of plastic on a vehicle advertised as a tough, rugged off road sport vehicle!?

I too have owned BMW's and paid much more for them! I'd expect better plastics on a high end and higher cost vehicle such as a BMW.

Well lets use Japanese cars, the quality of the plastic is quite a bit better than what Ford uses. Also, Fords aren't that cheap anymore. You can buy 60K Mustang GT's with the same shitty plastics.

Remember I love my BL's and to be frank I am nitpickinig.

Took some time yesterday to apply leather cleaner & conditioner to the Ebony/Roast interior in my 2021 Bronco Sport. Probably will do this every 6 months to keep the leather surfaces in 'factory fresh' condition. My 2007 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe has been receiving this maintenance since I purchased it in OCT/2008 & the leather interior still looks like new.
