Installed Tectico Plug’N’Play side marker lights today

I installed these today and found it to be a fairly easy process (thanks to @Chiefthepup for the guidance). The trickiest part for me was accessing the existing marker lights to connect the harness. The instructions say to "remove the fixing screw" to pull out the light and remove the connector. There is clearly no "fixing screw". I was able to access the connector and remove it in place, thanks to skinny fingers. I bought some 1/4" wireloom from Amazon and pre-installed it on the wire, which I believe also aided in fishing the wire down to the side marker from the engine compartment. I also have some nifty needlenose pliers which were a great help in removing the existing trim plate and also removing the connector from the side markers. I also followed the advice to "pre-compress" the clips on the Tectico lights to make them snap into place a bit easier.

Do you have to uninstall if you used a pre-slit product like this?

I used the pre-slit product and I would think it could be installed in place. This is what I used:

Well done!! That’s looks awesome idk what it is but I seriously am digging these side marker lights. Just seems so silly to have a pointless plastic piece so I’m stoked they put out a plug n play set up. 10/10 ?
