I drove down some dusty roads last week. Earlier this week, I finally got around to cleaning it.

I have a bunch of dirty around pretty much all the hinges. I thought of spraying them with some water but I don't want to get water in places it shouldn't be.

I let the dirt build up to protect vital parts from UV rays and more dirt.

You could use high pressure air and a fine bristle paint brush if it’s just dust. If it’s caked on dirt use a rag with soapy water, a brush for crevices. Nothing that can scratch paint, rinse then hi pressure air to dry right away. if you don’t have an air compressor dry off the best you can and leave it to dry the rest of the way in the sun. Kleenex will absorb most of the water in tight spots.

I wash and spray water on the hinges and door jams every time I clean the Bronco. I just leave the hatch and doors open to air dry.

I’ll spray the door edges. Last time I washed, I sprayed the rear hinges and got the headliner wet. I’ll be more careful next time.

Good thing I sprayed the hinges with lubricant before the drive.

I use LA Awesome from the Dollar Store, and then spray it down with water. If you're worried about too much water, use a hand sprayer (like the one the LA Awesome comes in) and just put clean water in it.
