There is a flip side to your story. I bought a 2021 Badlands that I ordered new and waited 7 months for arrival. I now have almost 22,000 nearly trouble free miles on it and still love it. I can’t explain away all the problems you are having but there are many good Broncos out there.
8000 miles not one problem

I've always wondered what happens to people that have these kinds of experiences.

I'm a Ford guy, bought my first when I was 15 with my Dad's permission. At this point I've had around a dozen or so Fords and never had any troubles with any of them.

Oh well...
I've had 9 different Fords in my life and never had the major problems mentioned at the beginning of this thread. The only time I ventured from Ford is when I bought two Plymouth Voyagers because Ford's mini van was so ugly.

The only time I ventured from Ford I bought a Plymouth GTX. Passenger wiper blade flew off as I pulled out of the dealership, then defroster hose dropped onto the floor when I turned it on the first time.

Passenger side door handle flew off onto someone's lawn one day when I made a sharp left hand turn.

Went back to Ford and never looked back.

You mean there were mini vans that weren’t ugly? I never knew.;)

When I was a boy, we had a horse drawn buggy. Most reliable transportation ever!

Everyone should have a horse drawn buggy. Those that don't like them, or claim they are unreliable are haters! They probably did not give their horse enough sweet feed and water, or perhaps they did not keep the axles greased.

Based on my personal experience, buggies are the way to go!
I had a couple of dune buggies. Does that count.:like:

Sure, all that matters is anecdotal evidence.

It's best if your experience was extremely positive or negative. Then you can claim that all X brand dune buggies rock (or suck) as appropriate.

For example, if your experience was good, then just ignore the fact that 70% of the same model dune buggy burst into flames.

What matters is the experience of one individual owner out of hundreds of thousands.

(In case it isn't obvious, the above is sarcastic.)

My buggy experience was outstanding and plenty of negatives also. So, I won't judge all the thousands of buggies out there who have had problems, including me. That goes with the territory though. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything, despite all the positive and negative weekends playing and fixing.

If you haven't broke something, your not having fun, and I've broken a lot of parts.

Mechanical things break, especially these new cars. Crazy
technical, just hope you don't get a "lemon" I guess.

Remember the big 3 in the 70's? Problems up the gazoo. Don't buy one that was built on Monday, or I guess any day for that matter.

I've owned just about every brand of car out there, a lot of positives and negatives over the years. Pick your poison and hope for the best.

FYI, late 90's buggy. Mazda 13B rotary engine. Long travel suspension.

Gosh, it’s threads like this that make me second guess myself. New owner of a ‘23 Heritage trim 3-banger in Alto blue here. Love the look of the BS, especially with the white lid. It’s very comfy and drives nice. My first car since the 80’s that didn’t have manual transmission, so I’m still reaching for a gearshift quite often! ?
I have no illusions of off-roading, or winning a drag race… ? AWD is welcome for winter driving here in New England. The plan is to be vigilant in keeping up with scheduled maintenance and keep my fingers crossed.

Best of luck to the OP and hope the problems get resolved satisfactorily..

2021 BroncoSport is the worst vehicle ever owned, been in shop six times for axle issues they never fixed, now catalytic converter is leaking, then daughter tells me it won’t go over 60 mph. I drive it and it downshifts at 60 to what felt like 2nd gear, I put it in park and it went into reverse. it randomly will shift out of park to drive or reverse So you can’t let it run in park without foot on brake. Bronco never went off road. POS, bought daughter a Chevy Blazer Yesterday. Praying it will be better.

Good Luck! I thought you said you were buying a USA built Honda, and you hated the BS being built in Mexico?

I'm guessing you didn't look into where Chevy builds the Blazer.

The Honda guy offered 17% interest. When I said we weren’t financing car thru them they instantly said they dont accept outside financing. I said cash and he upped price from 30-39k. Still got Bronco sport can’t get it out of driveway. Litterally won’t go into gear without slamming drivetrain. Have no clue what is wrong with it. Catalytic converter is almost thousand if I repair it, transmission no clue and axle grinding the least of my worry’s. Blazer was only car the daughter liked. Thanks Jason @ Holiday Ford/ Chevy. Whitesboro, Texas.

The first three sentences sound like hogwash.

Refusing outside financing is becoming more common. Dealerships get kickbacks from whatever lender they use, and given the loan sizes these days to purchase a new car the kickbacks can be sizeable. If a dealership's business model relies on those kickbacks to turn a profit then they can't sell a car without going through their lender. Seems stupid to make those kinds of business deals, but there it is...
