Looking for advice. I started driving a 2022 Big Bend and I really like it, but I haven't driven anything besides a pickup truck since 1974. I figured my days of hauling lumber, etc. were over but it only took a few weeks to realize that wasn't true. I did a test with an 8' 2x6 with a rag wrapped around one end slid into the tray under the touchscreen and another rag on top of the seatback. That worked for one board, but I don't think it's a good idea. Besides a trailer, how do you carry lumber with your Bronco Sport?
I don't. If I need long or heavy construction type material, I rent a truck from Home Depot or Lowes. $30.00 for 30 minutes.

Or, they deliver (for a marginal fee).
