One nice feature is that if the BS is not in Park when you stop, it will automatically engage Park when you turn it off. This is especially nice when combined with auto brake hold.

I don't you, I can't stand the thing either. I can't remember how many times I shifted wrong.I personally can’t stand the dial shifter. Have it in the sport and our Maverick. I sometimes get it wrong in 3 point turns. Well my wife finally got it wrong. Nice front end damage.

its electronic shift, so you can wail on it as your flying down the highway it won't shift to reverse untill certian conditions are met.

it took me a bit to get used to, coming from standards and colume shifters, I don't love it but I don't hate it. some times I think it is awsome, when my shoulder is acting up, but once I got used to it it is perfectly fine.

I dislike automatics anyway, but the rotary shifter knob is one of the main reasons I traded my Sport in for the big Bronco with a proper 6-speed manual. On the plus side, though, the Bronco Sport setup functionally worked fine.
