Has anyone done sound deadening

in the doors or anywhere else to improve the B&O sound system even more? If so, where did you install it? Did it make a nice improvement? I did it in the trunk of the 2018 Mustang I traded in for this Badlands to make the car ride quieter and it made the stereo sound way better.

I put some in the spare tire well to offset the loud mufflerless exhaust I put on.

I’ve got 35 more feet of it. I’m planning on doing the doors and the rear hatch with it.

Exhaust noise is about 50% quieter now. Still loud as hell, but a little quieter inside at least.

Remember that if you’ve got the B&O with the Tech Package, an artificial exhaust note (makes it sound like a V6) is sent through the subwoofer. Sound deadening will not eliminate it.

I haven't done any sound deadening to mine yet, have only had it 3 weeks and it's winter, minus 30° c is not good weather to do mods in lol. I do plan to do my doors and spare tire area and the rear hatch, I also plan on covering the back of both my license plates.. but the best advice I can give you to make the b&O sound system sound better, get rid of the amp and the speakers and replace them with a proper amp and speakers. That b&O system is garbage in every vehicle not just this one.

I like my b&o, I just had to adjust the sound to what I preferred. After my last few vehicles my BS seems very quiet.

I'm betting it sounds a lot better than the 6 speaker system in Bronco Sports that don't have the B&O. I think it's ridiculous that the B&O isn't available on the Heritage models.

It sounds okay. But when you look at it on a meter, you see that they severely cut off frequencies on both ends high and low. When you're a bit of an audiophile, crap like that bothers you. LOL the six speaker system sounds okay but in reality it's not really a six speaker system still technically a four. They just separated the mids and the highs between the door and the dash. It actually sounds really good for just a basic system. I am slightly surprised that it can play the high frequencies that it does produce as clearly as it does. But on the mid to low range is severely lacking but the same goes for the b&O system. I'm just not a fan of OEM so-called premium systems. I specifically chose a vehicle with the base system because I know I'm upgrading the sound with custom components.

Also lots of pics of the speakers used in the B&O system - pretty good reason why replacing the B&O speakers is a great idea

I have the advantage of old age and poor hearing so I think the car is pretty quiet. Not as quiet as my Bentley though.
No matter what sound system manufacturers put in cars, i.e. 24 speakers with double amp and large subwoofers, somebody is going to complain that it is garbage.

If it has 24 OEM speakers in a car, very high chance it will be garbage sound

It calms down significantly once the engine idles down. But cold starts are ridiculous. I love it.
