I looked thru the thread, missed it if it was there.
How much dinero ?
I’m curious to what that inch cost.
Always hated the spacer methods.

Eibach is making a spring kit. Just springs like H&R. Similar height and not for badlands. You could use on badlands you’d just lose about 1/2”. The badlands gets 1/2” from oem springs and the other 1/2” from the optional 235s.

there is now way a spring install should take even 3 hours, much less 6 hours. labor rate seems right though
By your comment that would be $250 an hour. Are you high?

I believe Badlands is factory 1 inch suspension lift and 235 tires adds another 1/3 or so inch.

Finally lifted the BS with the H&R spring after researching all type of post around the web, after almost 100 miles it feels and drives like stock without any type noises or clunking sounds, the install was done by a friend that helped me and it was done on 3 hours, overall I am happy with the results and the stance it has now, if you have any questions I will happily try to reply them all, Cheers.

Amaury, just changed springs, or added anything else? Looks good by the way, on that exclusive color?

It really does not matter what the actual install time is, what is the “book rate” for the job. This is how auto mechanics make a better wage. They get better at doing a job by learning/experience and can do it faster than the book time. The customer gets charged the book rate.

Sorry, probably something you already know but maybe others do not.

yes I do. Do they list how long their kit should take to install? And at this point i am not even sure which kit we are talking about anymore :cwl: And i see now HRG reccomends 6-7 hours for the upgraded kit. I'll shut up now lol.

Finally a reasonable lift done right !
I never did like the Idea of spacers. 1.2” plus a tad more to comp for a little spring settling.
I am assuming they have the same spring rate as stock so you can still use all your travel.
Can you all explain why a spring lift might be a better option than a spacer lift?

If the shocks will allow it, a spring lift will give you more suspension travel. Springs could also be tuned to be stiffer, or softer, than the stock springs.

That’s probably not everything, but its a start.

What Eric said. Some of the advantages listed could also be considered disadvantages. It depends on what your goals are. If you want better off-road capability more suspension travel is a good thing. If you just want to lift the car without affecting road manners a spacer-based lift kit is probably a better option.
