I can’t figure out if there’s a way to show/find the gas mileage for my 2024 BS Outer Banks. I record all my gas ups and services in a log so I know it. But my Jeep had a setting, don’t get me wrong, trading up was the best decision ever. ??????

I'm trying to see it through your eyes like you are looking at a blank display. If so go to the owners manual first to learn display settings. Once there scroll through everything and set it up as you like. Use Odometer 1 and Odometer 2 for short and long term mpg. Reset ODO 1 at every fill up, use ODO 2 for long term MPG. Reset your constant display as you wish to get at the moment MPG. If your BS has under 6000 miles than your mileage is most likely still reflecting your break-in period which will be lower.

Here is the technical part. Search "Engineering Test Mode_aka ETM" on this site. Read that before starting programming. Using the mileage numbers you recorded than compare that with your ODO 2 (long-term) mileage. The ECU is pre-programmed, Fuel Bias will be off by as much as 20%. Use ETM directions to readjust the "Fuel Bias". All of this is in the ETM post. I adjust my fuel bias every 10K. After 47K my long term average is holding at 34 MPG. Try it and let us know how it went.

There are several options to display fuel economy. You can view fuel economy for a trip, or over the vehicle's life time. This link opens an HTML version of the 2024 owner's manual at the section where it discusses information displays.

As mentioned, however, keep in mind the displayed fuel economy is not as accurate as hand measuring.

I've only got 1150 miles on the 2024 BSBB and average mileage is 28.389 mpg. I keep a spreadsheet for mileage and other services on my vehicles, and the Bronco calculated display is just about the same.

I’ve decided I’m only going to drive my 2022 BSBL off road :sunglasses: . We took it up north again the past week. On the highway it was around 25 mpg and off road we got nearly 30mpg after a week of mostly off road driving.

I keep checking, and keep coming up about the same — less than 1% difference between computer and hand calc (actually spread sheet) since I got the BS. The computer is optimistic, but when it’s that close who cares?

Yours is dialed in. Mine with the OE 225 tires was 4.7362% off (long term) and after several summer time changes (Falken 235 tires, recall 24S24) is dropping… now is 3.9209% off.
