It was old episodes of a Maryland Public TV show called "Motor Week" based out of Owings Mills. A bit cheesy at times but it was worth watching.

It's fun to see what was considered a good 1/4 mile time back then. A quick car ran 7-8 seconds.

That was a "Must-See Saturday" thing for me for years. Back when PBS actually had relevant and useful content. I even manned the phones during pledge weeks at KPBS San Diego WAY back in the day.

I miss the '70's. Except for disco, of course. It still sucks.
