I am curious, has anyone had any issues after they took care of this recall on your vehicle? I knnow it was only to install a drain tube. Reason I am asking, I had this recall taken care of in early summer and recently I am having some sputtering and the engine feels as if it is bogging down a bit. Anyone else dealing with this issue? I know it may just be irony, but sometimes you have to wonder. I just hit 30K miles on my 2022 Big Bend.

Sounds like injectors, or electrical, it could easily be related, most common signs of injector leak that I've read is smell of gas and significantly reduced fuel economy, anything less than 20 should be cause for concern

Take it back to the dealer that did the recall and have them check it all out.

I heard here that a mod to the software was also performed related to the drain tube install.

Yup, not a recall for the injectors.

I am having some sputtering and the engine feels as if it is bogging down a bit.
As @Bucko noted, this recall included software changes. Your issue may be related to those changes. Another trip to your service department is in order.

So if you give it the beans and your 3 cylinder suddenly acts like a 2 cylinder being all jerky and stuttering... that might be an ignition coil. It's very noticeable when 1/3 of the engine is gone. I had mine fail around 25k.
I also find these engines sputter and bog down sometimes right after being filled up with gas.
