Just saw this via Ford site. If vehicle happens to be in for service around that time, does dealership normally take care of update while vehicle is there? Or should I just plan to download at home later?
Wish I had been as lucky as DahliaDarlin'. Awoke to a dead battery twice just days before scheduled recall service. Am also experiencing same issues with auto/start stop. Asked if they would replace battery under warranty, was refused. Guess they'll be replacing it after all.
I received email on 3/9 for the drain tube and PCM reprogramming...
recall #24S16. Repair completed 3/25. Woke up to dead battery 2x since service. Good times.

Yup, agreed, absolutely makes sense to prioritize customer orders. But I think within customer orders there is another production hierarchy, higher trims scheduled first. At least it seems that way based on the posts here. I know I ordered my BB before a few folks with higher trims and I've not...
Trim/edition level seems a likely priority. Haven't seen too many orders for Basic or Big Bend trims getting a production date yet. Mostly BL, OBX and Heritage.
Equally excited for all you vin # holders and jealous, too! Ordered my BB on 8/28, will be interesting to see where that will eventually land scheduling-wise.
