It is fake hood scoop, no ventilation, it's just for appearance.I wondered if they made a hood scoop for the Bronco, now I know, cool look.

I went to the Ford dealer today (02/27/2024) and asked the parts guy about the hood deflector, he said the double-sided tape can ruin the paint, it's known to pull paint off and the bolt on "flaps" due to only being secured on the bottom and are only for looks, not protection. Not sure about this.Does anybody know where I can order a deflector (if that's what's it called) for my 2021 Bronco Sport? I'm getting rock chips on my hood and windshield; one's I've looked at are molded to the hood and are more for looks not protection.
not a "problem" but quite annoying!Hood wobble can be a big problem. I see it all the time on the fb pager.

Mine does it with the deflecter not installed. I just pretend it’s making up for my Border that passed away many years ago. Her lips would flap just like that when she rode in the car.not a "problem" but quite annoying!
Bought the hood scoop a few weeks back. Now deciding whether to leave it black or color match it (and waiting on the weather, of course). Did you ever consider keeping it black? Or you knew right away you were going to paint it? And if you don't mind, how much did you pay getting it color-matched?
Looks good, any problems with Aero skin II on the interstate?Aero skin 2 plus a skid plate (bumper guard) on my big bend

Hood shakes a little more, but that's about it. Not a big issue for me at almost 20k milesLooks good, any problems with Aero skin II on the interstate?
My problem is I'm on the interstate 75 in Florida a lot and if you go under 80 MPH Thel'll run you over, so hood wobble might be a problem for me.Hood shakes a little more, but that's about it. Not a big issue for me at almost 20k miles
I've went 90 and with it shaking I still don't have any issues other than it being a little unpleasant to see. It's a lightweight aluminum hood so I'd imagine you could probably get the shaking down by adjusting the hood stops or adding weight underneath it with some sound deadening and maybe cover that up with the hood insulation. My problem is I'm on the interstate 75 in Florida a lot and if you go under 80 MPH Thel'll run you over, so hood wobble might be a problem for me.
Occasionally I've noticed hood wobble on the interstate, not very often. Ford did not design the BS hood correctly in my opinion, they opted for design over functionality. We shouldn't have to modify the hood in any way shape or form..., a little worried about metal fatigue.I've went 90 and with it shaking I still don't have any issues other than it being a little unpleasant to see. I don’t think I’d worry too much about metal fatigue. It isn’t wobbling enough to go past its yield point.Occasionally I've noticed hood wobble on the interstate, not very often.
