Ford pushing EVs hard?

Early EV adopters already bought and now buyers have soured on EVs and don't want to buy. If one lives in moderate climate has a garage with charge hookup and wants to daily commute to from work not too far a distance an EV might be good for that use case. Excessive cold or hot climates no garage long distant driving EV not well suited.

Agree with all of this except for one unmentioned topic, and for me that is the price. I cannot bring myself to paying the price they are asking for an EV vehicle.

An EV could easily work for my average commutes, but the price stops me dead in the tracts.

I have gotten the e mails also; they can keep them. We have no interest in buying one. We are nearing retirement age & we have one new truck payment & we do not need another, plus the price range is waaaay out of our budget, I will continue to drive my gas guzzling 05 F150, & my wife her 21 BS/BB.

This is why I am, and encourage others who drive older cars to join SEMA. They protect us from ridiculous laws pushed by politicians to ban older cars and do nothing with polluting factories, as their pockets get lined from donations and contributions by businesses who pollute far more than ICE vehicles.

We have come a long way from the empty dealer lots during covid. Now you can stroll right on over to local ford dealer and EVs are on the lots ready for you to sign and drive home.
