How'd the struts fit? I just ordered the hood liner since mine was missing. I just want to make sure they do not conflict with the Redline Tuning hood struts. Anyone hVe pictures with both installed?

I'm curious if the liner and/or struts would create less of a wave in the hood as we're driving. Do they weigh it down/support it better? 1st world problem, for sure, but it makes me nervous to look at LOL

The liner does not for sure. No mechanical reason why the struts would either.

I’ve never had the wave, wiggle.
Makes me wonder if you could adjust something to stop it.
I mean my 2021 hood should be exactly like any other right ?

I would think so. It may be more a figment of my imagination than anything else, though. Maybe it's the angle compared to other vehicles I've owned, the color, something else?

Take it through a car wash with a blow dryer. Looks like dog lips out a car window at 70 mph!

Ford reduced the weight. Thin aluminum with less structural support. My 2006 Escape had an aluminum hood as well. Much heavier than the 2022 Sport.

Disagree, the hood struts apply pressure to the hood, which is a clear mechanical reason why they could affect the hood shake.

I should clarify my comments. My hood flutters between the hinges, not between the hinge and the front stop. I would agree the struts could help there and can add additional pressure at that point. They will do little if not nothing between the hinges.

I had assumed the flutter others were discussing was the same I was seeing. But if it’s between the hinge and the front stop, you are absolutely correct.

I’ll post a movie after the next time. Might be a while, I’d rather drive it than wash it!

No noticeable difference in flutter for me. Adjusting the bump stops took a lot out. Slapping on the hood solar panels dampened what was left

Does yours flutter on the sides, front, or back? Mine doesn’t do it often bit only between the hinges in the center near the windshield.

The hood liner is available for ordering?!? :) Been trying for months to order (been calling dealer every month, perhaps time for next call)! Did you order online or from your dealer?

Ordered from nplincoln.com. Part was M1PZ-16738-A, $118.07, came out to $135.02 with shipping. Should get it in a few more days and will take photos of install. You may luck out and a local dealership may have it for less. Ford parts does show it backordered but nplincoln had it readily available.
