My old VW Alltrack. I barely ran those Geolandars because they never balanced out well. This car had a turbo replaced around 30k miles, a diff around 80k, another turbo (this time upgraded) around 120k, and the diff was on the way out at 140k(?) when I traded it in. I will admit that it was fun to have a tuned wagon that could pull on an Ecoboost mustang while hauling bikes off the back.

'22 BSBL. Rally Innovations front skid is the only thing I've added in this pic. I just got some 245/65R17 Wildpeak AT Trails but don't have pics yet.

in 2021, I ordered a 2022 Maverick and after waiting nearly a year, I decided to buy a silver 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands. It wasn’t a color I wanted, but I impressed after driving a 2000 Ranger for 20 years. And you can guess what happened 3 months later, yep, the XLT hybrid Maverick arrived. It was a tough decision since I couldn’t keep both. I decided to trade in the BS and today, 18 months later, I am trading it in for an Outer Banks. I loved the Maverick except for deep sleep mode. Since I only drive several miles a day, sometimes not at all, deep sleep became a problem with some functions. Fortunately it always started, but I have heard lots of stories about the truck not starting, etc. I’m an old guy and don’t want to deal with the hybrid issues. As soon as I finish the post I will be driving to the dealer to get the cactus gray Outer Banks. A long way from rolling up the windows, etc, on the Ranger, but I loved that truck and had few issues and no rust in 20 years.
