It's possible there's a bumper that has the fog lamp openings. I've read on other forums of people removing the bumper to perform some other installation. Perhaps that part of the install isn't a problem other than the cost of materials and labor. It's the electrical part I have questions about. It will be labor intensive for sure.

They were supposed to move push button start and intelligence access on the BB to the convenience package. However it’s listed on every BB window sticker I’ve seen. And unlike the fogs, it actually comes with it.

My 22 BB doesn’t have convenience package but I have push button and intelligent access.
Wow, they are really screwing up this information on their website and the window stickers. The build and price still lists fog lamps and push button start as part of the convenience package but all the window stickers I looked at without the convenience package list the fog lamps and push button start. So they are still including the push button start but removing the fog lamps, but both are listed. You would think that someone at ford would have caught this by now.

I noticed this a while back as well. When I was ordering my BB in November, my sales rep told me I had to get the convenience package to have push button start, and it is stated in the build and price on the ford website. But I have been looking at ā€˜22 BB’s coming into my area and noticed they all have it regardless of not having the convenience package.
I was originally a little upset since it was the only option I needed out of the package and didn’t actually have to add the option to get push to start, but have realized there are quite a few features I am happy to have as well. Power driver seat, zipper pockets, sercuir-code, rear parking sensors and the fog lights. I guess I’ll consider it a happy mistake.

If you don't have push-button start how does it work, a regular key?
I'm trying to picture it.

They might replace the bumper skin for one that has the light holes pre-molded.

My 2022 BB did not come with fog lights even though the monroney says it should have as standard equipment?
Are you serious? Fog lights should be standard with all trims! I think my missing engine cover, mats, insulation and the plastic splash cover is easy fix but missing FOG LIGHTS! What is going on with FORD?!

Even then the OEM wiring harness for the fogs will not be there. If it's anything like adding the towing hitch/wire harness, the wiring will be missing well down the line not just by where the fogs would be.
I’d be willing to bet a paycheck that the harness will be there. I installed factory fog lamps on my fiesta and the harness was there. Now that I say that, somebody will prove me wrong and I’ll be eating ramen for a couple of weeks ?

I haven't decided if I want them for that very possibility. I'm going to see if they'll negotiate for something I want and it won't involve any install on their part.
Added fog lights to my Focus that did not have them installed from the factory. The wiring was already there and all I had to do was remove the blank plates from the front bumper, install the lights and connect them to the wiring harness. The switch on the dash was already the same one that was needed so no wiring changes needed to be made.

Look behind where the fog lights are supposed to be and you just might find that the wiring is there.

LED fog lights are listed as an optional accessory on the Ford Build and Price webpage for the Big Bend. Standard on Outer Banks and Badlands. You would have to order the convenience package to get the fog lights.

You could have an argument there though. LED fog lights ARE listed on your window sticker as ā€œstandard equipment included at no extra chargeā€.
Fog lights are standard on the big bend

He could save a ton of issues if they are indeed there.

On the 21 yes. Not on the 22.

Tapping on the face of the light dial where the fog button would be feels like it’s just a dead plate cover. So if the pieces in the bumper are just removable plates and the wiring harness is there and it just needs the button face on the inside, it might not be difficult to add.

You know, as an aside, the headlamps do a really nice job of illuminating the road. Almost as if there were fog lamps on at the same time. I said, almost! Lol!
If it makes you feel any better, I've had several vehicles over the years, most with "fog lights". In my experience they were all about useless. If anything they would *reduce* visibility compared to the low beams.

That includes my 2002 WRX with large, round, low-mounted fog lights, although they are the best I've used.

That's not to say there are no vehicles out there with decent fog lights, but if there are, I haven't owned one.

For me it’s the visual they give to the bumper. Breaks up all the plastic down there. But I can live without them if need be. I would like something from Ford however if they can’t get it done. Maybe the rubber seat backs that were also removed from the 21MY lol.

So I called Ford’s customer service line. Explained how fog lights are on my window sticker but I don’t have them. She patched in a tech who confirmed this by pulling up my window sticker and build sheet via VIN. She created a case number and said I can go into any dealer to get the fog lights installed. Apparently any dealer can look up the case numbers.

Step 2 is to contact a dealer and step 3 is to see how intensive the install is. I’ll keep everyone updated.
