Drivers door locks by itself.

I continue to have an issue with the drivers door locking itself when the vehicle is parked. I have tried turning the intelligent system off and on and resetting the Sync without it helping. None of the other doors lock by themselves. I can't find and issue reported on line and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

My 2007 xc90 did that on the passenger front door. It was the actuator malfunction.
Maybe it’s not firmware issue but a simple mechanical one.

Nothing like that on my 21 FE. But for awhile it would just randomly set the alarm off if I didn’t double tap the lock on the key fob.
Haven’t noticed that since I replaced the original battery with a AGM one.

Happens when people touch the part of the exterior door handle that locks the door. You probably are aware of two sensors on the front door handles that unlock and lock the door(s)?

If not that … see if you can make it repeatable so that the dealership can observe that happening.

Yes, have experienced this. When standing next to the drivers door it has locked and unlocked on occasion. I did find that when I turn the engine off and press unlock when I get out it will stay unlocked, most of the time. It did lock me out once when the key was inside.

That could be a low battery in the key fob itself, or a bad “key fob” module, etc have you had your dealership look at it yet?

Sorry, I don't get what you're saying.

Are you saying you're park, you turn the car off, get out, and while you're standing there the door locks by itself?

I as well have had this experience. I park in secured lots at home and work. I do not automatically lock any doors when I leave. In the lots, I leave the fob in the car. Some times upon return i find just the drivers door locked even with the fob in the car.

Yes, while it’s running! I do deliveries and sometimes leave the car running and close the door, and come back to it locked. I have to use the app to unlock, and standing in the rain or double parked on a busy street that’s no fun. ‘21 base model, not keyless entry. Anyone else?

Do you keep your second fob close enough to activate the locks? If so, you might try taking the battery out of it.

I'm having the same issue. Have been for months and my dealer just tells me there's no codes and it cannot be re-created. Can someone who has also had this issue provide us with an update on what Ford has told them? Did it get fixed?

Under certain conditions, when exiting the vehicle with the engine running, the drivers doors will lock - have a look at the description for this in the Owners Manual to see if it describes what you are experiencing.
