And this is one of several reasons why we no longer have our 2021 BS BL between Fords lack of quality and not able or willing to fix the problems and the dealers incompetence or not wanting to fix these problems we now own a Honda Passport that is extremely better in quality and workmanship.
I didn't leave Ford they left me.
I am currently trading mine in for a 2022 outback wilderness. I will have a sad post later with photos of the trip with heršŸ˜

We've had it since early June and have nearly 4000 miles on it including a four and a half hour drive very comfortable ride.
Come back in 3 years the amount of time you had your BS BL and let us know how its going.

Just over 5000 miles now on the Passport and still tight and quite unlike the BS BL which had rattles by 5k miles and no rear brake squeal.

It's only been 20 days not 3 years. And not a Honda but did you see the guy on here that bought the new Hyundai Sante Fe for his wife?I told him Car & Driver didn't like the way the transmission acted in it.Guess whats he had it for 5 weeks and the transmission took a crap.He said Hyundai and the dealership have been no help and 2 months for a replacement transmission. So i'll say it again all companies have problems and have Lemons[Your Bronco Sport] and come back in 3 years and let us know if you're still happy

This guy, thread & post? I mustā€™ve missed the story then as I donā€™t see in the thread where his transmission went out. Not that it would surprise me, Iā€™m not sure Iā€™d trust Hyundai/Kia over other brands for longevity.

That is the guy he didn't mention it in that thread. He mentioned it in another thread and if you notice in the link you posted he gave me a like when i said sorry about your problems. I found the Thread "Ford Bronco Sport Recall Notice 24S24 What A Nightmare" Post 7 on Aug 26,2024.

Oh wow.. just wowā€¦. Thanks for pointing out where I needed to read! I missed the ā€˜likeā€™ actually. & here I reread his thread again to see where the failure was mentioned thinking Iā€™d missed it. I mean something major & catastrophic can always happen & thatā€™s what the warranty is for. But to be out months without the car. I wish him all the best!

Iā€™d like think thatā€™s why Iā€™ve been shopping Toyotas for an upgrade path, but there are Timisoara reports of transmissions & engines failing on the Taco forums too. Ford really doesnā€™t look too bad when it comes to repair records.

Just to update on progress of repairsā€¦. I got the car back on Monday 9/9. (Again it was first dropped off at Dealer on Monday 8/5). They replaced both sets of fuel injectors. This morning the Powertrain Malfunction Code returnedā€¦ itā€™s headed back in.

I been lurking around on Honda Pilot forums and tons of ppl lemon lawing brand new Hondas. Given the Passports long in the tooth design I think your chances are better then Pilot. Hondas are far far far from inflatable vehicles. Buyer beware.

You need to search around and find another dealer. Lincoln dealers do Ford warranty work too. The vast majority of Ford dealers terrible service and corporate Ford usually no help at all. But there are some, not many, that care and are competent.

And Ford does not care if everything you own are Fords. If you trade in buy a different brand and never come back Fords like dont let the door slam you in the ass on the way out. They do not care

I was actually shocked at both the lack of quality and lack of dealership experience a friend of mine received with a 23 pilot., to back up the forum claims. An engine failure & incompetent dealership to the level that youā€™d be put off if it was Ford. I think he finally has it back on the road now, but it was some difficult getting there for him. He expected another Toyota out of the Honda & was sadly mistaken.
