If you are handy with your
Hands it actually pretty easy to replace yourself. My cousin husband works as a tech at a Ford dealer and can do them now in about 30-40 minutes. Also I'd you want to know what I did to stop the squeaky brake let me know I can explain that.
I have sold my 2021 bb with the same thing. I said fuck it and I changed out my rear brakes and rotors with better quality ones. But in the process when I got to the side that did the noise. And the piston was jammed up. Finally got it back to where it should be I never had that problem again.
I'm glad to here it was under warranty. I got rid of mine a month ago for a outback wilderness. Again to many problems. I found what the dealer called "seeping" of oil on the bottom of the transmission and something on the start of the drive shaft. Told me warranty repair isnt warranted yet...
Yea white only looks good if it can be clean. I remember when I first saw the blue I didn't care for it but I kept seeing them in person and it grew on me
I have the atw3 on the BB and I loved them except for the weight. I was excited for the atw4 then I saw the added weight and turned off. I can only imagine they will be great but the extra weight was a turn off
The baby bronco is being traded in. I've loved and hated it. It got me to many cool places and caused many head aches along the way. It is a shame for quality is not there. It's climbed, swam, drifted in sand a bit. But the problems outweigh the positives. From 3 water pumps, seeping oil from...
True it won't. But I personally do not agree with such a high mileage count for the fluid change in general. There are many logical reason on why to change it sooner than 150k in general. Especially if the vehicle is lift or heavier tires. Which people do just for aesthetic as well.
I will say in regards to Fords private testing. Not trying to knock them or any company who do the tests. But specific tests vehicles where they are nitpicked throughout its building process are different from everything rolling out of the assembly line as fast as possible to get to the consumer...
I don't believe the 150k fluid change for the trans anyways. But I'm more worries about after the warranty is done. I plan on waiting till I'm 1000 miles from warranty to trade it in. If I can't trust this thing to not blow water pumps and start leaking in 2 other area. What is going to be wrong...
Dealer just called were able to expedite it for me. "It's seeping not leaking and that the warranty wouldn't be approved until it does". In short terms
I'm sorry I should have made more clear. The appointment is for tomorrow 8/9. I have not had the trans fluid changed yet. As much as I want to believe that someone just made a mess I find it unlikely as when it comes to a straight oil change the skid plate doesn't need to come off and there has...
Yea I kinda remember that hole suppose to be there. But it seemed more oiled on the nut and thread that you see sticking out rather than the hole. I doesn't look like it came out of that hole specifically and nothing on the skid plate. I've been under this vehicle alot maybe 8 times already and...
No I'm at 43k I've gone on 3 overlanding trips already and wanted to have it serviced for that reason. Also I wanted to have it done before the warranty was up incase there is a issue they find in the fluid.
I'll be bringing it in tomorrow. I had an appointment Friday for a oil change and trans fluid change. I only got under there to take my skid plate off for them because so far they have been nothing but good to me there so far.
The photos are from the transmission and the start of the shaft. I know what to look for for the pump. I found the first 2 leaks from. But now I got the trans and the other part leaking something
Got under the car to take the skid plate off for the fellas at the dealer Friday and I happen to see some wetness. Im on my third water pump already. Transmission. Looks like engine oil and dont know if that hole is suppose to be there i dont remember. Then the shaft. Im kinda tired of this...
